Top priorities were given to study problems below:

  1. International governance, good governance around the world and their impacts to China.

  2. New model of major power relationship needed by China’s peaceful development, especially the relationships among China, the United States, Japan, Russia and EU to explore the joint governance pivoting on China’s peaceful development with sound and healthy interactions among major powers.

  3. China’s geopolitics and relationship governance with neighboring countries to explore the reasonable prospects on South and East China Sea issues

  4. The new China’s opening-up strategy, strategy to build a “maritime power”, new Silk Road economic belt and new Maritime Silk Road
