In the afternoon of Apr. Second, there are more than 20 national and local senior officials from Sri Lanka who works in the Institute of Court, the Ministry of Education, the Legal Department, the Ministry of Communications, Social Services, the Investment Committee, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, having a visit to The National Institute of Governance of Hua zhong University of Science and Technology. The dean, professor Ouyang kang,with the Secretory of the Party,Ma donghui and other research members Qi haibin, Wuyi, Chengang, Du zhixin attended the reception.

The dean, Ouyang kang made an introduction about fundamental state and recent study progress of the National Institute of Governance to guests from Sri Lanka. The importance of governance research to the national development aroused guests’ great interest. According to their own actual work experience, the guests of Sri Lanka put many specific problems forward, such as China is how to implement the rule of law concept, Chinese scholars are how to use their academic researches to affect national policies and decisions, Chinese government is how to solve the unfair phenomenon in society etc. The professor Ouyang kang and other concerned scholars had an intense discussion about problems above with the guests of Sri Lanka.

The National Institute of Governance established long-term academic cooperation relationship with the Administrative Count of Sri Lanka, because China and Sri Lanka all are Asian country and confronted with the same problems, have the similar values. And , the best solutions of governance can be absolutely sought by academic cooperation.
