论坛背景
BACKGROUND
在全球化背景下，国际组织在维护各国利益、促进国际交流与合作、维护世界和平与发展中发挥了非常重要的作用，是全球治理的重要途径。然而，当前世界却出现了逆全球化潮流，也出现了诸多新的全球性难题，国际组织在全球治理中的功能和作用的发挥面临严峻的挑战。因此，加强国际组织和全球治理的研究，强化国际组织在全球治理中的地位和作用，是一个重大的世界性课题。与此同时，中国如何在支持和参与国际组织建设，优化全球治理体系和治理能力，推动世界和平与发展，促进人类命运共同体构建中更好地发挥作用，也是当前中国面临的重大时代课题。
In our time of globalization, various international organizations, as crucial means of global governance, play ever-increasing important roles in the safeguard of national interests, world peace and development and the promotion of international communication and cooperation. However, we also see the new trend of de-globalization and the emergence of new global conundrums, which pose serious new challenges to international organizations and their role in global governance. Therefore, the reinforcement of international organizations and their functions in global governance become an issue of worldly significance. The Symposium will also address issues such as, how to improve Chinese participation of international organizations, the optimization of the system and capability of global governance, the promotion of world peace and development, and the construction of Human Destiny Community.
本次论坛广泛邀请全球性国际组织、国际政府间组织的代表、以及国际组织和全球治理领域的专家学者出席，共同探讨国际组织和全球治理话题，为提升国际组织在全球治理中的地位和作用贡献智慧。
The Symposium will invite representatives from international organizations, mutual organizations, and scholars on international organization and global governance, to tackle the conundrums and issues, and to contribute their wisdom for the optimization of international organizations and their function for global governance.
